Unless someone steps up to
the plate soon on this spectacular large ornate antique gilt mantle mirror
Katherine will, most definitely, keep this beauty for our own... you just
don't find pieces such as this in this fine a condition and it is truly the
nicest mirror, regardless of price, we have had the privilege of bringing
home with us in years (which is probably why we hesitated even
offering this piece for sale). Recently retrieved from an affluent
estate in Eastern Canada, this mirror features a grand size...
amazing detailed gesso work which is 99% intact... original mirrored glass
which is showing just the right amount of silver loss to authenticate its
age... solid, sturdy and sound and, without a doubt... truly DIVINE!
One would venture to pay at least $3,000.00 at any upscale antique gallery
so if you're quick to act you can literally steal it right from underneath
us (but before Katherine changes her mind and takes it off the market)...
