features intricate glass on three cupboard doors. Behind each door is a

This is a piece of furniture that was made in Belgium, in a town called
Maline, just north of Brussels, between 1860 and 1900. It is absolutely hand
carved and crafted in a deep dark solid oak. The trade mark of this
furniture is often the fearsome looking hand carved lion head that you find
on either corner of this piece with the thick brass ring through his mouth.
There are two drawers, curved and carved with original brass pulls, and two
doors whose fronts are carved with a beautiful renaissance pattern of urn
and foliage. On either side you find a lathe-turned column, and around the
bottom edge is a very wide molding. There is nice storage space on the shelf
behind the two doors and inside the drawers. It goes well against the wall
in a hall way, or absolutely anywhere else in the house. It is a very
handsome piece of furniture that will be the admiration of everyone who sees
it, and you will be happy when you realize how much your investment has
increased and all the while you have been enjoying a gorgeous piece of
